FoodLogiQ’s National Livestock Traceability System is a low cost, secure, reliable livestock traceability system for U.S. livestock producers and associations. Our web-based system enables over 1.2 million livestock operations to identify their animals and to participate in traceability-based marketing programs.

NLTS operates at the speed of commerce by connecting to farm, feedlot, processor and regulatory systems using standard interfaces.

Agriculture Traceability

FoodLogiQ's system of Traceability works based on the One-Up / One-Down process. With FoodLogiQ, clients are only required to keep track of supplies and materials related to their product. ID's are assigned to each step of the process.

One-Up refers to any and all supplies that are obtained for the manufacture of the client's product and the Suppliers from where these products were procured.
One-Down refers to the where the products are shipped or sold.

FoodLogiQ then links all the points in the production process together to track a product from farm to consumer.

Example of Traceability by Lot/Premises
• Premises
- One farm or packing plant equals one premises
- One large farm may contain several premises
• Lot Definition is flexible
- Date of shipment
- Date of harvest
- Date processed
- Based on inbound lot
• Movement definition is configurable
• Additional Events: vaccines, spraying, etc.
