Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Operations Specialist will work cross-functionally across the organization and is responsible for providing analytical and statistical support to the sales and marketing teams by delivering consistent, accurate and timely reports to sales, finance and the executive team. This position will identify gaps within data and report sets and interpret the analytical requests from sales and senior leadership. The Sales Operations Analyst will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the reports and will recommend improvements to align with the Organization’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales analysis and provide direction and insight to support the sales team
  • Track KPIs to align with strategic department goals
  • Evaluate current reports, dashboards and analytical processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work with the sales team to develop tools and reports to assist reps in selling process
  • Support leadership in evaluating changes to organization or programs
  • Support all sales roles in Salesforce
  • Host forecast meetings with the Sales and Executive Team
  • Gather, model, and visualize data from across FoodLogiQ’s business units
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of FoodLogiQ’s workflows and a detailed understanding of our policies
  • Perform SFDC administration, including but not limited to managing custom fields, objects, layouts, views, triggers, security configuration and workflows
  • Transform key findings into visual presentations (including graphs and charts)
  • Train teams on effectively using Salesforce
  • Ability to use different tools at the same time (i.e., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pendo, industry-leading BI tools, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for streamlining
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, including proven experience managing and summarizing large data sets, compiling sales reports, and performing analyses
  • Ad hoc requests from all levels
  • Collaborate internally to analyze and test the accuracy of data sets to solve business problems and conduct data mining for enablement and planning
  • Experience working with or for sales management teams to gather critical information and deliver data-driven analyses and recommendations
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Work under tight deadlines and for extended hours during quarter and year-end periods

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate messages clearly and succinctly to a variety of roles and skills levels
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel or Sheets skills, including proven experience managing and summarizing diverse data sets, compiling sales reports and performing analyses
  • Salesforce.com experience, particularly administrative functions at a basic to intermediate level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Communications or Business Administration or a related discipline preferred

2+ years of work experience in sales, sales operations, finance, marketing operations or related field
