Vice President of Sales

FoodLogiQ is seeking a growth-minded, entrepreneurial leader to drive revenue at the leading SaaS provider of food safety compliance, traceability and supply chain transparency solutions. A successful person in this role must be metrics-driven, competitive, and have demonstrated success within a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and highly motivated leader with at least 8 years of software sales experience and 5 years of experience mentoring enterprise sales teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the team to exceed targets for sales and revenue growth
- Optimizing sales processes and ensuring consistent execution of the process across the customer lifecycle
- Collaborating with Marketing to maximize efforts driven from demand generation and account-based marketing
- Coordinating closely with Implementation and Managed Services team leads to ensure efficient transition from prospect to customer
- Managing ongoing forecasting process to provide predictable results
- Partnering with senior leaders to gather and provide valuable feedback for process and product improvements
- Fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and high-performance
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- A proven track record leading a remote sales team selling SaaS B2B enterprise software
- Demonstrated success scaling a sales organization focused on enterprise-level customers
- A history of success recruiting and retaining top sales professionals with proven ability to exceed performance targets
- Ability to implement a disciplined, systematic sales process
- Ability to be a collaborative leader with superior interpersonal skills and strong business acumen
- A track record of success as a sales leader who can successfully negotiate contracts with six and seven figure annual recurring revenue with large corporate customers
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Food industry and/or supply chain experience is a plus
